How to remove background noise in CapCut

CapCut makes noise reduction almost too simple: it's a single toggle. That's great when it works, and frustrating when it doesn't, because there's little room to fine-tune it. Here's exactly where to find it on desktop and mobile, plus what to do when the toggle isn't enough.

The fast way (online, free)

Tips for better results in CapCut

• Apply Reduce Noise before other audio effects like Enhance Voice or EQ, so you're not layering processing on top of noise.
• Always play back with headphones before exporting; CapCut's toggle can make voices sound slightly thin, and that's easier to catch on headphones than laptop speakers.
