This policy explains what happens to your data when you use CleanNoise (https://www.cleannoise.app). We've tried to write it in plain language rather than dense legal text.

Your files

When you clean or enhance an audio or video file with CleanNoise, the file is uploaded to our processing service so the AI can produce your cleaned result. Your file is used only to produce that result, is never reviewed by a person, is not shared with anyone else, and is automatically deleted within 24 hours. We do not sell, share, or use your files to train third-party models. The free preview and the paid full-length download use the same processing.

One exception: the extract audio from video tool decodes your file entirely in your browser and does not upload it.

Account and billing information

If you subscribe to CleanNoise Pro, we (or our payment processor) collect the information necessary to create your account and process payment, such as your email address and billing details. Payment card details are handled directly by our payment processor and are never stored on our own servers.

Analytics

We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate usage of the site (for example, which pages are visited and which tools are popular) so we can improve CleanNoise. This analytics placeholder does not collect the contents of your audio or video files, and wherever possible we avoid collecting personally identifying information.

Cookies

CleanNoise uses a small number of cookies or local-storage entries for essential functionality, such as remembering your theme preference (light/dark) and, for Pro subscribers, keeping you signed in. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with service providers who help us run CleanNoise (such as hosting, payment processing, or server-side processing for Pro features), bound by their own confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Your choices

Uploaded files are deleted automatically within 24 hours, so there is normally nothing left for us to hold. If you have an account and want your account or billing data deleted, contact us and we'll take care of it.

Children's privacy

CleanNoise is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
